Nursing (Master’s and Doctoral Programs)

Adhering to Toho University’s founding principle of “Nature, Life, Man” the Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Nursing aim to foster professional healthcare providers as well as educators and researchers by enabling students who have received fundamental education in nursing and related fields to develop advanced knowledge, skills and research capabilities.
The Master’s Program in Nursing welcomes applications from those without a professional nursing qualification or nurses without a bachelor’s degree. Classes are offered during the day and in the evening for the convenience of employed students.
The Master’s Program in Nursing offers 12 specializations. We are enriching the program so that students can pursue their preferred specializations in nursing and related fields. In Infection Control and Prevention for Nurses, we offer a course leading to Certified Nurse Specialist in Infection Control Nursing. The Midwifery program is offered in Reproductive Health Nursing. Students completing this program are eligible to take the national midwifery examination to obtain a license as a midwife.
