The Graduate School of Medicine offers two research majors.
  • Medical Science (Master’s Program)
  • Medicine (Doctoral Program)

Medical Science (Master’s Program)

  The Master’s Program in Medical Science accepts graduates of four-year colleges and universities. We welcome applications not only from natural science majors but also from humanities or social science majors. The program is suitable for those who aspire to pursue careers in medical science for which they will need extensive knowledge, deep insight, and excellent research skills. Upon successful completion of the Master’s Program, graduates can apply to the Doctoral Program in Medicine.

Medicine (Doctoral Program)

Medicine (Doctoral Program)
  The Doctoral Program in Medicine welcomes applications from those who have completed, or expect to complete, an undergraduate program in medicine or dentistry or a master’s program. Students in this program pursue research in basic or clinical medicine. Only medical graduates who have a medical qualification and have completed their two-year primary clinical internship are eligible to apply to internal or surgical medicine programs. These programs aim to produce professional clinicians and supervising doctors with superior research skills.
